Shopping and Entertainment Centre Olympic Plaza is being developed in a historical part of Kyiv. It was here that the Agriculture, Industry & Trade Fair and Exhibition took place in 1913, which was as reputable as the worldwide famous exhibition in Paris. In Soviet Ukraine this tradition was carried on by the National Economy Achievements Exhibitions.

Five years before, on October 29, 1908 at the Kyiv Agriculture and Agro-Industrial Council N. Repin, the Leader of the Kyiv Provincial Nobility, pointed out the necessity of an exhibition such as this one.
The Fair not only represented agricultural achievements, but also hosted events on trade & industries, and science & art. In all, 15 provinces and the Ministry of National Education, Ministry of Trade and Industries, land and handicraft departments were represented; the Exhibition housed booths on themes of sugar-beet, medicine, railway, automobile, aviation, shipping, sport and hunting, church, distillation and brewing, applied arts, Correctional Institutions, etc.
"Olympic Plaza", the first megamall in Ukraine, will continue the line of traditions that shaped in Kyiv at the beginning of the last century, and will bring the development of trade technologies, family recreation and culture to a new level.
